Caroline Johannes

 

My name is Caroline and I am the founder and doula of Kindred Spirit Birth Services. I am a happily married mama to 2 bio babies, 2 bonus step kids, and 1 angel baby. I have always been passionate about women's reproductive health, rights, and birth. I attended my first birth about 10 years ago and could never imagine the inspiration that it would be for me!

 

My services include birth and postpartum doula, breastfeeding education and support, as well as babywearing, belly casting, and healing mandala workshops for women who have experienced birth trauma. I also will be coordinating and co-leading a healing group for families who have experienced loss such as miscarriage and stillbirth.  I serve Sioux City and anywhere within a 60 mile radius. I will accommodate VBAC births and travel further for those.
